| Introduction | I was born at 23 weeks 5 days. When my Mom and Dad were getting ready to take me home I failed my hearing test. At the time they thought I just had fluid in my ears but as it turns out I was moderately to severly deaf in both ears. I wore hearing aids for almost a year and I just received my first cochlear implant in September. |
