| Introduction | Raised in Delaware and graduated from John Dickinson High School in 1974. Graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1978 with a BS in Physics. Collegiate All American in .22 cal rifle. Served 26 years in US Navy as an officer on 6 ships, including Commanding Officer of USS EXCEL (MSO 439) and USS CALLAGHAN (DDG 994). Graduated cum laude from the Naval War College with a Master of Arts in International & Strategic Studies. Born again during first deployment at Genoa in 1979. Married (still!) with three children and five grandchildren. Now working in defense industry in Northern Virginia/DC. |
