| Introduction | My name is Kathy. I'm 47 years old and I've been married to my best friend Virgil for 28 years. We have two children. Amy, my daughter, is 25, married and the mother of two beautiful little girls. Their names are Saylor (4) and Sammi (2). Jason, my son, is 27 and is currently living at home while trying to get student loans paid off. He hasn't found that "special someone" yet. I grew up in Nowata, Oklahoma and went to a small school called Alluwe. I graduated in 1978. Virgil and I married shortly after this and moved to Sterling, Colorado. We stayed there for about a year and a half and then decided to move back closer to home. Jason was born while we were living there. Amy was born in Tulsa. We lived in Tulsa for a while when we moved back and then bought a mobile home in '83. We thought we were in "tall cotton". LOL We moved to the Wichita area when Amy was in first grade and we've been here ever since. So now, home, at least for my kids is Wichita. So, I don't think I'll be moving back home anytime soon, because I couldn't bear to move too far away from my two little beauties, Saylor and Sammi! |
