| Introduction | The Internationalist was a blog about a Canadian family living in Budapest, Hungary. Now it is a blog about living in Ottawa, Canada. Most of it is written from the perspective of the mother with translations of interviews and news sources in Hungarian provided mostly by the father. The children (a boy and a girl) are nine and seven. Highlights (and I use the term loosely to mean highlights for the reader and not necessarily for us): getting shot at during the riots in Budapest in 2006 (link to a recording of the Internationalist being shot at) and a story describing how she managed to be frog marched out of Serbia in 2001.
