Introduction From an early age I have loved books and writing and it’s genetic. My mother and her brothers wrote diaries, my daughter has published two business books, and from age five my grand-daughters have written stories. At 16 when learning to type I wrote a science fiction novel, forty years later it expanded to 250,000 words. I learn as I write, I submitted novels to Mills & Boon, but my desire to romance both the soul and spirit didn’t fit with their genre. At an ACW meeting Richard from Kingsway showed interest and subsequently wanted to publish ‘Jane’ until STL stopped distributing fiction. Acting as agent the manuscript went to Bethany House and Barbour, both replied “this doesn’t fit our publishing schedule.” A London literary agent submitted it to US HarperCollins the reply the same! In 2005 I self-published ‘Jane’ of my proposed six book ‘Hearts Desire Series’ each book is 400 pages of fun and fear, twists and turns with the Lord influencing the characters’ lives. ‘Jill’ came out in 2007 and ‘David’ in 2012. Distribution of self-published novels is a problem, the fourth ‘Rosie’ will probably only be in Kindle format. Code: ACW = 50% off books from website.
