| Introduction | What is Black Cat Syndrome? BCS is the name they call the phenomenon of black cats being overlooked and passed up by potential adopters. Everyone needs to step up and take action to counteract this terrible syndrome. This blog was made to help spread awareness about the importance of promoting pet adoption for black cats and or mostly black cats because they are at high risk for ending on death row and being euthanized if they dont find homes. It also serves as a resource page of links to a variety of animal rescue groups to help assist people in finding their new feline companion! (If you're more of a Dog Lover, then plz consider adopting a black dog in need from your local animal shelter!) It's time to end the played out myths and superstitions that black cats bring bad luck, they are evil, etc. |
