Introduction	We would like to introduce you to "RFamly Farm"! We live on a small hobby farm with 3.5 acres. We are enjoying our fruit trees (plums and apples) and all the abundant wild fruits we are able to harvest in our area too. We love our nice little secluded spot in the world. ... and abundance of wildlife! We have heard that there is even a bear in the woods behind our house... we haven't seen him yet and sure hope we never do! We currently raise goats for pets, milk, and meat. We also have A LOT of chickens (they hatched out 28 chicks this summer)! We always have plenty of fresh eggs when we can find them. We still have a few rabbits, but are now only raising them for the girls' 4H projects. Besides our "working" animals we have 17 (at last count) cats that run around! I think they are "working" and keeping the mouse/rat population down, but that is still way too many cats! Of course, Shantelle doesn't think so! I hope to keep this blog current with the happenings on our little hobby farm, so check back often to see what's going on!
