| Introduction | ABOUT THE ARTIST After obtaining a Degree, majoring in Printmaking, I spent several years teaching art/craft in Melbourne Secondary schools. In 1985 I moved to this beautiful region of Gippsland where I continued over the years to teach part time, run camping/fishing/ boat cruises on the Gippsland Lakes, operate a craft shop and holiday cottages in Briagolong and have 2 children. For 20 years, I lived 14 kms north of Briagolong on a beautiful bush property adjacent to the Freestone Creek and State Forest. In 2006 I moved to a smaller property on the edge of Briagolong. I am currently teaching Technology/Arts at Sale College. I returned to painting with the Briagolong School Of Fine Art in 2001. I am currently working with the “Freestone Printmakers” and Briagolong Artists. I am also on the committee of The Briagolong Art Gallery. |
