| Introduction | Hi! As assistant director of an arts presenting organization for a major university one of my duties is to direct educational outreach activities for K-12. As part of that outreach we formed a partnership with a school system and became members of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Partners in Education Program. This program offers professional development for teachers in arts integration, and this is how I became familiar with this approach to teaching. This blog is to help teachers become more aware of the arts integration method and to provide a place where teachers can come to seek out resources, share with colleagues and talk about arts integration. I want to hear from any teacher who is using arts integration in the classroom. I'll be posting your comments, lesson plans, whatever you want to share, along with other resources that I find on this journey.
