Introduction	I love teaching and I love my students, even when I threaten to strangle them. I am incapable of not being sarcastic and speaking my mind. I love being active, though I am often lazy. I am a big fan of beer, wine, whiskey, and tequila. I can get so wrapped up in a book I forget there are actual three dimensional people in the world.

Favorite movies	Voces Inocentes, The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, A Place Called Chiapas, Volver, Frida, Thelma and Louise, Brokeback Mountain, Waitress, Casino Royale, Stranger Than Fiction, Superbad...lots of movies are good.
Favorite music	Indigo Girls, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Brandi Carlile, Lyrics Born, Ben Folds, Catie Curtis, Garth Brooks, Ryan Shupe
Favorite books	Anything by Hemingway, Louis Alberto Urrea, Kent Haruf or F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Time Traveler's Wife, Memories of My Melancholy Whores, The House of the Spirits, Skinny Legs and All, Mary and O'Neill, A Certain Slant of Light, generally any books.
