| Introduction | I grew up in the New England region of the United States. I studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City, specialising in Women’s Sportswear. While being mentored by some of the industry's most seasoned designers, my work was selected to be featured in FIT’s 2006 Student AAS Exhibition at the FIT Library in Manhattan. Previously, I received a Master’s degree in English Literature and Creative Writing in 1999 from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and I worked for several years as a university lecturer, teaching English Composition and Literature. I've recently relocated to Dublin, Ireland, and look forward to finding a place in my new city’s vibrant fashion scene. |
