| Introduction | After a 20+ graphic design career spent mainly in commercial publishing, I took the decision to return to academic study. I am currently employed by UAL as Senior Lecturer in Graphic Branding & Identity. My research interests are wide-ranging and include: anti-branding, design activism, editorial design, generative/processes, hauntology and post-structuralism, semiotics, music and subcultures, and experimental typography. In 2024, I was accepted onto the UAL PhD Research Programe. The working title for my research project is: A Hauntology of post-punk: Visions of the future at 'the end of history' |
