| Introduction | Nia is a three year varsity starter for the North Allegheny Senior High Tigers. - Nia is a three year Captain and was voted Most Valuable Player by her coaching staff her Freshman and Sophomore seasons, and the Unsung Hero in her Junior year. - Nia was named to the All-Western Pennsylvania 2nd team and was the highest rated goalie by opposing coaches in Western Pennsylvania. - Nia is a member of the National Honor Society and currently holds a 3.93 GPA with an eye towards engineering or vocal music in college. - Nia was named an Outstanding Young Citizen by the Pittsburgh Trib Review and was a finalist for the Jack Wall Humanitarian Scholarship for her work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and her contributions to peers in school. - Nia is a 2 year member of the Honors Chamber Choir at NASH and has been in the cast of the school musical her sophomore and junior years. - Nia has won many other awards, both academic and sports related, including Student of the Month (and nominated two other times), The American Legion Award for Outstanding Middle School Student, Ingomar Middle School Athletic Hall of Fame and others. |
