Introduction	So, I started this blog as a medium for sharing my stone crafts with friends and acquaintances. I haven't been making the stones long, in fact, it's only been a few months. But, I've wanted to make them for a few years now, ever since my Dad started making them. He lives in upstate NY and is able to find stones for his vases on walks and hikes. Unfortunately for me, slate-style stone is hard to come by in NC, so I end up finding mine at a local stone supplier. However, I do plan to spend some time out "rock hunting" next time I visit my family in NY. So, whoever reads this, I hope you enjoy the sights. I never knew being creative with rocks could be so much fun!
