Introduction	If you like reading the ramblings of 50-something, mostly-keep-to-themselves, bookish fellow humans, then this is the blog for you! My name is Barry. I am 54 years old, and yes, I'm an introvert. I'm also married - to an extrovert, which makes life quite interesting at times. We have four beautiful daughters (a mix of introverts and extroverts), a black cat named Sketch and a neurotic Bichon named Missy. This blog is for me, mostly. So I can put down on (electronic) paper my thoughts, observations and feelings about this big, scary world around me. And I thought maybe some of you out there could use some inspiration from my musings and possibly find a bit of guidance along the way, too. I'll try to post 2-3 times a week, so please enjoy, and if you feel like commenting, I would love to hear from you.
Interests	Writing, obviously. Reading, acting, directing, singing, art, movies, Guinness, and red wine.
Favorite movies	Anything with a good plot, and decent actors.
Favorite music	Classical, jazz, old school rock
