| Introduction | I am originally from Charlotte. I graduated from the UNC-CH in 2005 in Journalism. I decided to take a year off between college and law school to work, and during that time I met my future wife, Jessica Hartman. I graduated from Elon University School of Law in 2009. 2009 was a crazy year for me, as I had to balance graduating law school, studying for the North Carolina Bar Exam, buying my first home, helping Jessica with wedding planning, and passing the Bar Exam. I took Bar the last week of July of 2009, and was married the week after. In January, 2010, I joined DeVore, Acton, & Stafford, P.A. as an associate attorney. I am excited about practicing law with my father, Fred William DeVore, III, and one of my lifelong friends, Derek Adler. I am honored to have such a supportive family. My wife, Jessica, is the reason behind my successful completion of law school, the Bar Exam, and my legal career. Even though my legal career has just begun, I hope to make a positive impact on our legal community. |
