Introduction	I've been teaching economics at Hartwick College since 2002, with a stint at Czech University of Life Sciences in 2010-11. I was drawn into economics by an interest in environmental questions, and my focus in graduate school was environmental economics. My duties at Hartwick have included macroeconomics as well, so I've been engaged in an ongoing effort to tie macroeconomics to the physical reality of resource use and transformation. I expect this blog to be dispatches from that effort.
