IntroductionDo you ever stop to think how much the environment has changed in your lifetime? Stretch that over 150+ years and imagine what has happened since the industrial revolution. I trained as an Environmental Health Officer in the 1980's and have strong interest in Public Health. A few years ago I realised that the biggest Public Health threat was not pandemic flu or HIV it was Climate Change. Since then I've been trying top persuade people to do something about it. 400ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere is considered by many scientists to be a major tipping point beyond which we may lose control of our destiny hence the title for the blog. Hopefully we can all work together for a brighter future as I passionately believe it will take the actions of all of us to get out of the mess we are in. As they say though the first step in solving a problem is admitting one exists. The future starts here!
