| Introduction | I was independent at as soon as I could walk…at least that’s what my Mother has told me. I started baby-sitting when I was 13 and started working at the movie theater as soon as I was 16. I loved making my own money, being independent, and not depending on anyone…I strived to be like Scarlett from Gone with the Wind. Then the Lord came a knocking and my life changed. It took several years and many painful lessons to get where I am at but I am now dependant on the Lord….and co-dependant on my husband. I wouldn’t want it any other way. I am a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, a friend, a sister-in-law, an aunt, a wife, a lover, a daughter-in-law, a stay at home wife, and now a Mother. It’s funny….I now would like to be more like Melanie from Gone with the Wind instead of Scarlett. |
