Introduction 35+ years in film business. Established FilmFinders in 1988, first ever database tool for film buyers, sellers and programmers to organize acquisitions. After IMDb, an Amazon company acquired FilmFinders in January 2008, FilmFinders was integrated into IMDbPro and Levine left for other endeavors. She started her career at IFA when it merged into ICM, was first woman in international distribution - 20th Century Fox Amsterdam, H.Ross Perot's start up video company Inovision,ABC Video.Went on to establish profitable video division of Republic Pictures as VP Acquisitions and at Lorimar, acquiring rights to feature films ranging from specialized foreign features, such as ‘My Beautiful Laundrette’,'Tampopo’,'Barrio Cuba' to other genres.Consults with producers and governments including Germany, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Chile, Macedonia et al. Current interest in passing on knowledge to the new generation including literacy through film. MS in Ed from USC, BFA from University of California, License Sorbonne University of Paris, Cours de Civilization Francaise. Speaks French, German, Spanish, English; travels extensively on the international film circuit.
