| Introduction | I live in a village in Northamptonshire, England. I'm a single mum, and have two children,and a 18 month old granddaughter. Home is a 1928 semi, opposite open fields, I would love a cottage, and as you can probably identify with, my house is my dream cottage (for the present anyway!) I love the countryside, and a great passion of mine is walking. To get out there, early on , a peaceful, quiet sunny summer's morning, is my idea of heaven! I was a little girl who loved making things, forever making pipecleaner people, matchbox furniture, and dolls clothes. Not a lot has changed, but now I stitch, I love patchwork, folk art,stencilling, bag making. In fact I like loads of crafts, and love making things for my home, and others. I love fabrics,from simple calico, linen, and homespun, to beautiful vibrant silks, satins, and velvets. |
