| Introduction | Parnngurr Community School is an Independent Aboriginal School that is communtiy run. It is located 370km east of Newman on the edgde on the Rudall River (Karlamilyi) National Park in the Great Sandy Desert. It is in beautiful surroundings in perhaps one of the most remote corners of Australia. The school fosters dynamic programs including Martu Wangka (the Aboriginal Languages of this area) Horticulture, Music, Arts and Cutural Bush Trip.We are introducing a music program in 2006 that intergrates new and emergent technologies. |
