| Introduction | Thomas Dean was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He moved to the United States with his family when he was a child. Thomas graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Communications. He later went on to become a Senior Director of Data Product Management and Development for a major telecommunications company. After college, Thomas turned to photography and writing as a creative outlet. He soon found that photography was far more than snapping a picture. Photography became a way to communicate his emotional response to the subjects he photographed.
