| Introduction | There's no other way to put it- my life has been one of abundant blessings. The blessing of growing up in a Christian home with loving parents that are still together, and two younger brothers that I love dearly. The blessing of getting to attend the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) and study nursing. The blessing of being able to freely follow and worship my Lord, Jesus Christ. The blessing of love. Love for my family, my friends, but mostly my God. Love for tennis, running, basketball, piano playing, songwriting, singing, stargazing, and just passionate living. The blessings of living in freedom, laughing often, and dreaming big. Dreams that extend from becoming a nurse practioner to working overseas in Sudan to adopting a child someday. Dreams that fill my heart with excitement and hope, driving me to do the best I can do as though I'm working for the Lord and not for men. The ultimate dream of somehow extending my blessings to those less fotunate than myself, and the dream of discovery. Discovering blessing after blessing, miracle after miracle, and most of all discovering where I'm supposed to be and what I'm supposed to be doing... for such a time as this. |
