Introduction	I always had fascination with numbers.In 2007 I came across a stock ticker and was fascinated by the no.s flashing on it.I took some money from dad for investing in few big companies.During the 2007 bull run I doubled my investments.But in 2008 subprime problem of the US unfolded and I lost my profits.Markets crashed in 2008.But analysts were still advicing to buy.Indian economy as such had no problems but foreign investors were running away.Here I learnt that Indian stock markets are controlled by foreign money and when they are not happy, the health of economy doesn't matter.Inspite of losses I held my stocks hedging through derivatives.At the start of 2009 markets had lost half of its value.I felt this should be the limit of fall and started buying again.By 2010 March I had covered most of my losses and doubled my money.Lesson 2:Long term investment and patience is very important part to make money in stock markets.Over the time I learnt many important lessons after burning my fingers numerous times.After 3 years in stock market I started a fund called "RIO FUND" which is the money from my friends I am using as start up capital.RIO has gained 32% since last december.
