| Introduction | From childhood, Eclypse's first love has always been music. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY - a young Eclypse always felt a little different from her peers. She absorbed herself in music, art, and writing to fulfill the need to create. Her family relocated to South Florida in the early 90's and she remained true to her love for Hip Hop music. Upon graduating High School at age 16, Eclypse began recording with local artists - first singing hooks, eventually featuring as an emcee, then gradually moving on to solo aspirations. In 1997, Eclypse, then Cisco appeared throughout a compilation album, Ryde Out Music Presents... and received radio play on several local radio stations. Currently, Eclypse remains the sole female member of the Wu Tang Affiliated group, Watchmen. The group released two albums in stores, titled Wu Tang Management Presents: Watchmen and POWER. The group’s first release, Wu Tang Management Presents: Watchmen was chosen as an AMG Album Pick and received rave reviews. Eclypse has recently released her own solo project Absolute Magnitude as well as appearing on numerous feature recordings with various artists. |
