| Introduction | My name is Nichole, but I go by Nichi (at least in print/type). I am a typical college freshman in that I would probably die if I didn't have the internet. I live with my cats and my boyfriend, both of which I love dearly. I read a lot, mostly Chuck Palahniuk and Augusten Burroughs. The hardest thing about maintaining this blog is remembering not to say too many cusses. I welcome all forms of feedback, despite the fact that this blog is involuntary. Alright, let's do this thing. | Interests | Edgy literature and various nonfiction, diet soda, cats, indie music, good sales, science, and all kinds of other nerd-ery. |
| Favorite movies | Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem for a Dream, and Fight Club are my top three. |
| Favorite music | I like indie, metal (generally all types), folk, anti-folk, and nerd rap. The only music I genuinely do not like electronica and screamo/post-hardcore and other trendy scene-kid music. It makes me gag. |
| Favorite books | I like anything by Chuck Palahniuk or Augusten Burroughs. I'm also a Sylvia Plath fan, surprise surprise. Steinbeck is also a favorite author of mine. I am a fan of any nonfiction about medicine in general, and cellular biology. I also enjoy feminist theory literature, as well as your handful of classics. My fiction tastes are generally offbeat and somewhat vulgar, and I like anything dealing with the innermost workings of psychology. No, I do not like Twilight, it is like Anne Rice for the idiot population. |
