| Introduction | My husband, Ramon, and I are in our 5th season of sailing together. We both sailed in our earlier lives and loved it so decided to take it up again and plan on cruising full time in the next few years. Our first season we bought a used 16' on Craig's list and sailed it for one season in the town lakes. We sold it at the end of the season for the same price that we bought it and the following season we joined Courageous Sailing Center. We sailed Courageous' Rhodes 19s for 2 seasons. Our 3rd season of sailing out of Boston Harbor, we joined Piers Park Sailing Center, another non-profit club. We sailed their Sonar 23' May to October that season. This season, 2012, we were ready for a sleep aboard boat and found Boston Harbor Sailing Club at the February Boat Show. We are busy sailing their Albin 28s this season and in addition to several day sails have enjoyed two weekend and one week long sailing trip! |
