Introduction Six years ago my life changed in a dramatic way. My husband of 36 years died after a long battle with cancer. Just when I thought my life was over, God took me in a completely different direction than I could have ever imagined. I went on a short term medical mission to the country of Haiti, and it was there that God gave me a desire to serve Him on the mission field. Well, I am finally at my mission site. I am teaching nursing at Bongolo hospital in the country of Gabon, Africa. My first stop was France, where I spent a year learning to speak and teach in French. I am just at the start of a four year assignment in Gabon. I hope you will follow along with me as I go through the ups and downs of following a mighty and awesome God!
