Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Forks evolved from the first intstruments there ever were, and still the most adaptable, the human hand. Forks were of the first utensils, really. A sharped stick piercing a plant or particle of flesh and used as a handle could be considered the first fork...possibly non-forking, ironically.
