After graduating from Voronezh State University in 1966, Freddy worked in the mountains of the Caucasus and Kamchatka, the Urals and Tien Shan, the Carpathians and the North Baikal region, in the deserts of the Karakum and the Kyzyl Kum, on the plains of Central Russia and Ukraine, in the tundra on the Kola Peninsula and the Polar Urals. Also, in different years he studied ore deposits in Spain, South Africa, Australia, and Alaska. And each time there are new meetings, new impressions, and new reflections.
