| Introduction | Due to blessings from God and my wonderful husband, I’m living my ideal job as a full-time mom to our two precious children, Joel (3) and Kirstin (less than 1). I use my MA in Early Childhood Development and Education, as well as my years of teaching preschool, to foster their development in all that we do. I treasure every moment with them, even as the highlight of their day is when Daddy (Jim) walks in the door from his job as a Director of Worship and PhD student. Jim and I prioritize connecting with each other every night to catch up on the day’s events, eat ice cream, and read our devotional. Scoops of Heaven is the name of the beach side ice cream shop equipped with a piano for spontaneous hymn sings that we talk about opening in our retirement; it just seems to sum up so much of what we love. |
