| Introduction | I feel it's my duty to inform people of just what happens to animals by the hundreds of billions every single year...merely for the sake of such human frivolities like consumption, entertainment, clothing and wholly unscientific experiments (vivisection). Not only is this hopelessly sadistic and immoral, but people don't even begin to think where their food comes from let alone care about it. The fact this is the 'norm' makes we weep for humanity...so what have we become? Treating animals like mere commodities as if it were our inherent right... as if we are somehow more valuable then they... That, people, is the basis of all forms of discrimination - from racism, sexism, bigotry, misogyny ad infinitum - and the oppressor ALWAYS justifies their actions with complete self-righteous indignation... no matter how heinous their crimes.
