Introduction	I have been a Stained Glass Artist since 1999, but my interest in glass began much earlier. My great aunt was an accomplished artist and as a young girl, I was fascinated with her work, particularly the mosaic artwork. I began my career by taking stained glass courses through the local Parks and Recreation Department. I also took a variety of classes at local stained glass stores where I learned a variety of skills. For years I honed my skills making objects for family and friends. Later, I began selling my work at craft fairs and boutiques. I have been selling my art on etsy.com since March of 2008. You can find my shop at www.DesertCreations.etsy.com In addition to making stained glass wind chime sun catchers, I enjoy making lead panels, experimenting with fusible glass and making mosaic stepping stones. My favorite topics are southwest themes. When I am not making my artwork, I also volunteer as a Cub Scout Leader. Following in my footsteps, my daughter has also become an accomplished artist.
