Introduction I have lived many lives in 70 years. My 1st job was as a cook. My most fun job was as writer/editor/ photographer. My longest job was in academia, as an administrator and as an instructor. I retired from administration and happily taught for 7 more years until that no longer made me feel happy or fulfilled. I recently started working in event management, and although I started that job saying I wanted to be a cog in someone else's wheel, I can feel that perspective shifting a bit. I am a clinical social worker by license and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist by training. I play the piano. I knit and sew and garden. I am a mother, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a grand-aunt, and someone’s best friend. When I was young, I told my mother that she would be sorry when I became a famous writer – she wanted me to do my chores. I wanted to write. I still want to write, so sometimes I do.
