| Introduction | La Esperanza is a school for mentally and physically disabled children located in an extremely impoverished area of El Progreso, Honduras. Established in February 2006, the school consists of mothers, friends and volunteers determined to provide our sons’ and daughters’ the educational foundation required to grow and develop into active and contributing members of the community. As with all children, our students deserve the opportunity to better themselves and experience the joy of obtaining goals and making new friends. |
