| Introduction | Many people in the United States are still reeling from the effects of the pandemic. One of the ways that this looks is through job loss. During the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, unemployment in the United States skyrocketed. This made it hard for a lot of people who were already going through some pretty tough times financially. What’s worse is that finding a job in our current economic climate can be no small challenge. Consequently, there is a labor shortage going on as well. With all of this going on, what’s the deal with marijuana usage and employers? Well, even though medical marijuana has become legalized in 36 states, employers looking to fill labor gaps still regularly commit to drug tests. |
