Introduction	My name is Karen and I am from the small village of Vaivase-Uta in Samoa. Right in the center of the South Pacific. Four years ago I somehow ended up living with my sister Daisy, her fiance Tom, their 7 kids and some "house" fish in Rosemount, Minnesota. This place is a HUGE departure from my tiny homeland's year round tropical weather, the care free lifestyle and my rather large extended family. My interests vary from cooking, singing and volleyball to anything Bollywood. I also do Polynesian dancing on the side with my family. How else would an island girl stay sane in 25 below 0 weather in the long freezing Minnesota winters? I'm a single LDS Samoan sistah with a huge heart and smile to match (even if I do say so myself) navigating in a strange new land and these are my adventures.
