U.S. Government: from a student's perspective

Introduction	When asked to give my political views, it is impossible for me to answer in just one word. According to the typology test I just took, I’m a Conservative Democrat, but I’ll be honest, I’m not that strongly opinionated about anything just yet. It’s not because I don’t care or I’m not interested, it’s because I recently turned eighteen and things are just now beginning to affect me. By taking a U.S. government class, I hope to gain knowledge of both past and present government and political situations as well as learn more about myself by challenging my thoughts, opinions, and beliefs about U.S. government.
