Introduction	I create being inspired by my grandchildren, and others who are close to me. I am a retired visual arts teacher who is loving this stage of my life. I am an active artist who also develops original designs for machine embroidery. CHILDREN, CATS and ART have always been a part of my life. Pictured is my granddaughter, at the age of 3, giving me a hug and a kiss.

Favorite Movies	Christmas: THE CHRISTMAS STORY and MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (Natalie Wood version) as well as ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE starring James Stewart. Oh, I cannot leave out the Charlie Brown Xmas Stories, and THE SNOWMAN and THE POLAR EXPRESS. I am a sentimentalist when it comes to Christmas themed movies.
Favorite Music	Mozart, Bonnie Raitt, Annie Lennox, Enya, Adele and the sound track from the movie CIDER HOUSE RULES.
Favorite Books	I love reading and can't pin down a favorite. Currently, I am studying the manual for my new serger, and will update when I start the next book, which will be the AMERICA, Imagine a World Without Her, by Dinesh S'Souza. I will have to wait for the DVD to be released of the movie based on this book.
