| Introduction | I was stunned into blogging by reading Glennon Doyle's "Untamed," and listening to any song by P!nk. I realized I had so much to say, because I am starting to really feel the feels. Whether anyone reads it was not the point, necessarily. It had to come out of me or kill me. I am clean and sober since 2004, which was the first thing that saved my life. Glennon and Pink have also saved my life, from here on. They may never know it, and I am still so appreciative for their collective call for me to stop giving away my life, and saying someone else took it from me. I need to own my OWN shit. Oh yeah, if you don't like swearing, MOVE on from this blog. I don't edit myself any more in order to be liked, and sure as hell will not edit here on my heart. Says I've been on Blogger since 2014. Nope. Too afraid to be real 7 years ago, or maybe I just knew I would be too fake, in order to be liked. Never mind all that nonsense. It starts now. |
