| Introduction | Meeting together every 2nd month at different locations, Timothy Fellowship includes a hearty sit down dinner, a chance to meet others who are passionate about the Word, Glorifying the LORD and enjoying Him forever. The focus of each fellowship will be the solid teaching on various theological topics from experienced Pastors, Seminary Lecturers and Missionaries. Timothy Fellowship blesses and equips God's doulos (slaves) to serve the LORD and His body, as they grow spiritually, in wisdom and stature. Please note that Timothy Fellowship is not a seminary, nor the replacement for regular worship and sharing in the sacraments, Timothy Fellowship is akin to a regular Bible conference. |
| Interests | The Church here in Adelaide and indeed the rest of the world needs men who “contend for the faith once delivered to the saints”, men who live by “every word that proceedeth forth out of the mouth of the LORD”. Like Timothy, who Paul taught that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction…”, God seeks men who have the same convictions. You may be reading this because you are committed to the transendant truth of the Gospel. However, you are not alone, there are others who share the same commitment. Timothy Fellowship has thus been formed to enable younger men, not unlike Timothy, to participate in the serious study of God’s Word. It has also been formed because work, TAFE or University pressures has made things difficult for some who want to enter into formal Biblical studies, either through a local seminary or by correspondence. |
