| Introduction | I'm just weeks away from departing for Seattle to start a Master of Science in Nutrition...a holistic approach with a scientific foundation. When I finish I'll have the credentials to sit for the RD (Registered Dietician) exam. I spent 17 years in the insurance and financial services industries in training and development. While the 11 years at U.S. Bank was a great experience, when my position was eliminated I realized I was staying because I thought it was stable and didn't feel passionate about my work. I asked for a severance and they generously gave me one. I left knowing only knowing that my next steps would be mind/body/spirit focused. I have two degrees from U of L (Louisville) but never took any science. I started back in January 2011 to earn the equivalent of a Bachelor of Science. |
