Introduction	Avid gardener and self-taught student of herbal medicine. Of African and Native American descent, I am drawn to other cultures, languages and experiences, and feel a deep connection with our natural surroundings. I consider myself spiritual, not religious, and strive to nurture truth, which like a garden, can be cultivated with attention, care, love and lots of hard work.
Interests	Gardening, herbal medicine, foreign languages, music, dance, camping, hiking, swimming, writing.
Favorite books	Recently read The Life of Pi. It promised to make readers believe in God. It didn't do that for me, but it was still a very intriguing book with a profound ending.
