Introduction	This blog is to promote the music of this area. Bristol TN/VA is officially known as the birthplace of country music. We, the A.C.M.A, honor the memories and accomplishments of musical pioneers like the Carter Family, the Stoneman Family and Jimmie Rodgers. We help to promote and preserve old time and bluegrass music as well as Appalachian and country music. We are involved in many musical venues in the area such as The Carter Fold and The Song of the Mountains. We operate a museum with exhibits featuring local artists and superstars from past and present. Our museum contains a giftshop that includes hard-to-find CDs,DVDs and books.
