Introduction | I’ve been creating with found objects all of my life. This fascination with design and construction led me into a career in architecture. I’m a licensed architect and LEED Accredited. I’m also a Contributor to JunkMarketStyle.com. For over thirty-five years I have used antique, vintage and flea market finds within my work. Each piece is created with an eye towards balance, color and uniqueness. The distressing of the paint must take into account how an actual antique would wear from years of touch. The end result combines furniture design and painting techniques to form one-of-a-kind lamps, signs, furniture and installations...Jim Healy, AIA, LEED AP. |
Interests | Long junking road trips, really great food, concerts, reading, more great food, estate sales, architecture, photography, drawing, designing and building my furniture line, just having a damn good time. |
