Introduction	My Odd Balls blog began life as a column in The Cambridge Student. After I completed my MPhil I decided to expand it into sportaccordingtobex, mainly because I find researching the strange-but-true sports stories so amusing. As a freelance journo you might think I'd have enough of writing in the day job but as there are sporting heroes doing so many ridiculous things the burden is fairly light!
