| Introduction | I was raised by two of the best people I know: my parents. When they weren’t helping others, they were raising a family that shares their values. They inspire me to be better and continue in their work. I have known public health all my life. I believe that the best way to reach people is directly—by shaking their hands and offering them whatever help I can give them. This blog, in conjunction with other efforts, is intended to serve as a resource for Hispanic/Latino individuals or heath leaders looking to improve the overall health and quality of life of this community. Help for this community is widely available but unknown. And what good is help if people do not know it’s out there? I do not plan on reinventing the wheel—simply bringing light to what others have already accomplished. I hope you will follow this blog and help me help others.
