Introduction	I'm a 59 year old lesbian mom with a partner and 2 growing teens living a life beyond my wildest dreams in Israel, just inside the green line in the Judaean Hills. I started this blog after the murder of two young people at the gay youth club in Tel Aviv in the summer of 2009 to do my small part at being an example and more out in the world. I also volunteered for the Jerusalem Open House education team, sharing the story of my boring gay life with high school students and others in and around Jerusalem. I liked it so much I went back to school and became an English teacher!
