Introduction	Carolina is a London based Venezuelan playwright. When she was nine years old, she wanted to be a ballerina, but when she was 17, her parents signed her up to do a BSc in Economics. Frustrated by numbers, statistic and the despairing possibility of working in a bank, Carolina performed the ultimate act of revenge upon her parents and left for London without finishing her degree. In London she continue to develop her passion for art and in particular, literature. Whilst studying a degree in English literature at Birkbeck, Carolina fell in love with theatre and decided to take a creative writing course in Drama. She has written short stories both in Spanish and English - and a full-length play. She is currently working on her second play and working as Assistant Producer for Tangram Theatre Company and the Latin American Theatre Festival (CASA).
